Our commitment

Francette, LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company doing business as “Ricerca”, is committed to making the website at ricercacredit.com (the “Site”) accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our target standard, and we work to provide an experience that is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for everyone.

Measures we take

To support accessibility, we strive to build and maintain the Site using practices such as:

  • using semantic HTML and a logical heading structure so content is meaningful to assistive technologies;
  • supporting keyboard navigation so the Site can be used without a mouse;
  • providing visible focus states so keyboard users can see where they are on the page;
  • maintaining sufficient color contrast between text and background;
  • adding descriptive alternative (alt) text for meaningful images;
  • respecting the prefers-reduced-motion setting to reduce non-essential animation; and
  • providing a skip-to-content link so users can bypass repeated navigation.

Ongoing effort

Digital accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time task. We periodically review the Site, test with a range of tools and techniques, and work to improve accessibility as we update content and add features. As standards and best practices evolve, we update our approach accordingly.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content or features may not yet be fully accessible. Currently known limitations include:

  • Third-party components. Certain embedded third-party components — such as the anti-spam verification widget on our contact form — are provided by their vendors, and we cannot fully control their accessibility. Where a third-party component presents a barrier, contact us by email and we will assist directly.
  • Data visualizations. Our illustrative charts are built as SVG with text alternatives, but the underlying figures may be easier to consume in the surrounding prose, which always states the key numbers.
  • Downloadable and generated documents referenced from the Site may vary in accessibility; we will provide the information in an alternative format on request.
